Lund Gothenburg Responsibility Project (LGRP) is looking to hire three four-year, fully-salaried PhD students affiliated with their project, two at Lund and one at Gothenburg. Applications are due by 20 October, and the starting date of the post is January 2020. For more details, see this page on their website.
LGRP is a 10-year research project funded by the Swedish Research Council and co-funded and hosted by the Philosophy Department at Lund University and the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science at the University of Gothenburg. It is directed by Paul Russell and Andràs Szigeti.
LGRP focuses on moral responsibility and free will within action theory, normative ethics, metaethics, and legal philosophy. Much of their research interest therefore overlaps with that of the Roots of Responsibility ERC project, and we at RoR are planning to organise some academic events in collaboration with them in future.
