Max Kiener, one of RoR’s post-doctoral research fellows, has written a piece on what ‘rigorous informed consent’ consists in, that must be obtained from potential participants to ‘challenge trials’ for developing COVID-19 vaccines. It is published in The Conversation, a not-for-profit online network publishing news stories written by academics and researchers.
Consent is one of the topics Max has worked on; his DPhil thesis, Voluntariness, Consent, and Justification, focuses on consent to medical procedures and in particular on the conditions that make consent voluntary.
