CONF – Lund Gothenburg Responsibility Project (LGRP) Graduate Conference on Responsibility

The Lund Gothenburg Responsibility Project (LGRP) is a 10-year-long project funded by the Swedish Research Council, which aims to be a leading centre for the study of responsibility and related themes.
We are pleased to announce that the keynote speakers will be: Paulina Sliwa (University of Vienna), who has written on moral epistemology, moral psychology, and ethics; and Carla Bagnoli (University of Moderna and Regio Emilia), who has written on philosophy of action, moral epistemology, and moral psychology.
The conference aims to bring together early researchers working on new and exciting developments in the philosophy of responsibility and free will. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
– Philosophical methodology for the field of free will and responsibility
– The relationship between responsibility and the emotions
– Approaches to praise and blame
– Theories of punishment
– Responsibility over time
– Responsibility and atypical agency
– Responsibility and power imbalancesThe conference will take place in Lund, Sweden, on the 13th and 14th of April, 2023. There will be up to seven talks besides the keynotes.
