ERC Research Seminar (6): Responsibility and Negligence

The sixth meeting of the project’s research seminar this term (T2, 2020–21) will take place from 16.00 to 18.00, on Tuesday 23 February, 2021, online via Zoom (the possibility of convening physically will be reviewed). The topic for this meeting is: Responsibility and Negligence
- Questions: Should liability to criminal punishment be conditional on the presence of a mental element? Is negligence a state of mind? Does the Rational Functioning Principle provide a better explanation of responsibility for negligence than the Guidance Principle?
