Research Seminar Spring 2019 (2): Voluntary Action

The second meeting of the project research seminar this term (Spring 2019) will take place from 10.00 to 12.00, on Wednesday 16 January, 2019, in the seminar room at the Department of Philosophy, UCL (19 Gordon Square).

For this meeting, we will focus on voluntary action. The target readings are:

• Hyman, John. 2015. Action, Knowledge, and Will. Oxford UP. Ch. 1 “Agency and the Will” and ch. 4 “Voluntariness and Choice.” (See also Appendix “The Modern Theory of the Will.”)
