Research Seminar Spring 2019 (7): Agential abilities/Abilities and dispositions

The seventh meeting of the project research seminar this term (Spring 2019) will take place from 16.00 to 18.00, on Monday 25 February, 2019, in Room B10 at 16–18 Gordon Square. Please note the change of the day, time, and the venue.

For this meeting, we will focus on agential abilities and dispositions. The target readings are:

• Kenny, Anthony. 1975. Will, Freedom and Power. Blackwell. Ch. 7 “Spontaneity, Indifference, and Ability.”
• Alvarez, Maria. Forthcoming. “Agency, Ability and Control.” To be circulated to the participants.
