We are honored to announce the Third Munich Lectures in Ethics, which will be held by Susan Wolf, Edna J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on “Responsibility: It’s a Matter of Time”. The event consists of three sessions. On June 5 & 6, Susan Wolf will deliver talks on “Humble Apologies” and on “Being Responsible”. On June 7, she will be joined by distinguished commentators Carla Bagnoli (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Elinor Mason (The University of California, Santa Barbara), and Leonhard Menges (University of Salzburg).

The Munich Lectures in Ethics are a biennial lecture series in moral philosophy. They have previously been given by Philip Kitcher (“Moral Progress”, published in 2021) and Baroness Onora O’Neill (“Why Human Rights Are Not Enough”, forthcoming). The Munich Lectures are under contract as an ongoing series with Oxford University Press, edited by Monika Betzler (LMU Munich)
