The Einstein Ethics Group (R. Jay Wallace, Daniele Bruno, Francesca Bunkenborg, Jan Gertken, Felix Koch) are organising a workshop addressing fundamental questions regarding the connections between agency, norms and practices of moral responsibility.

Discussions will take as their starting point work in progress of two philosophers who have already made a number of important contributions to these topics—Ulrike Heuer (UCL) and Erasmus Mayr (Erlangen-Nürnberg). Both of them will be present at the workshop.

Details are available on their website. For summaries of the book projects that will serve as basis for discussion, please refer to this PDF document therefrom. This is a pre-read workshop. Participation is free, but registration is required. Please write to contact@einsteinethics.de for more information.

The workshop will take place on 5–6 July, at the Institut für Philosophie, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Under den Linden 6).

John Hyman from the Roots of Responsibility ERC Project will be present.
